Pay however you want.
You should be able to pay on your terms. That's why PayPal gives you the flexibility to choose the best payment method for you. You can link your bank accounts, Visa / MasterCard Debit cards, and credit cards to your PayPal account. That way, you can choose how you want to pay, and never have to worry about keeping a balance in your PayPal account. If you don't have any money in your PayPal account balance, we'll use a linked bank account, Visa / MasterCard Debit card or credit card to fund your purchase. If you have a bank account on file we typically use it first (after your PayPal balance is gone), but during the checkout process you can also choose to fund a purchase with a linked Visa / MasterCard Debit card or credit card.

If their find that someone has used your PayPal account without your permission (for example, someone stole your account password), or there was an error (for example, money was incorrectly taken from your account), PayPal will cover you for the full amount of every eligible unauthorized transaction. Finally, if a transaction doesn’t go as planned, or you’re worried about anything at all, like fraud or phishing, PayPal make it easy for you to report issues, and get help. On top of all this, PayPal provide additional protection through their Purchase Protection program and Seller Protection program, described below.
